“Jewelry has always been one of my hobbies. For me, the process of designing and creating one piece, is like telling a story. Every one of my pieces has it’s own process and story to tell.
As a teenager, I started designing jewelry for myself. Although, my first formal encounter with the jewelry trade was at School of Visual Arts in New York City. A few years later, when I came back to Mexico, I continued my studies at CENTRO University. I’m currently based in Mexico City, where I continue to learn both traditional and contemporary techniques from the guild, which has been part of the Mexican culture for centuries.
I love both: designing and the learning process behind creating a piece at the workshop.
The core of my inspiration is nature, art as a form of expression, the way different cultures have expressed themselves and travelling….”
